Where should Texas A & M pick up his next coach?

The writing was on the wall long before Texas A & M made it official Friday, but the Aggies went from Billy Kennedy. There were rumors of a separation of means at the end of last season, but Kennedy guided A & M to his second appearance on Sweet 16 in three seasons and won another year at College Station.

After losing three starters last season and then guarding Admon Gilder for the season, there was too much to overcome for Kennedy and the Aggies this season. They lost to Texas Southern and UC Irvine at home in the absence of conference, and then lost eight of their first nine games in the SEC.

A loss to the Mississippi State in Thursday's SEC tournament sealed Kennedy's fate. The two teams split after eight seasons for Kennedy at College Station.
