Where to buy Xbox Series X: restock updates at Best Buy, GameStop, Target, Walmart and more

[ad_1]

After months of “sold out” messages and low inventory, there is finally good news – although it is still selling fast, Xbox Series X has been spotted at a number of retailers in recent weeks. The fact that the coveted console has been restocked means gamers who have so far been unlucky in their attempts to purchase the new Xbox may soon get one.

It has been a long way to get to this point. Beyond the typical enthusiasm of new consoles, the pandemic has driven up demand for Microsoft’s game console as so many people seek entertainment they can safely enjoy at home not so new consoles were out of stock for months).

The $ 500 Xbox Series X is the gaming console of choice for its 4K video and 120Hz refresh rates. But if you don’t have a 4K TV, the Xbox Series S costs $ 300 much more reasonable. While many people are still waiting to buy one, the new console seems to be almost as in demand as the PS5, who is now the best-selling console in the history of the United States.

This is true: It will likely be months before normal inventory levels show up in large retail stores, so if you don’t put in the effort, getting your own Xbox before summer will likely be a challenge. Microsoft recently said it expects stocks to be short until June..

We strongly recommend that you wait until inventory appears at regular retailers so that you can purchase an Xbox Series X at the normal retail price. But if you just can’t wait, just know that the average Xbox Series X price on eBay is around $ 800.

Are you prepared to pay a premium of several hundred dollars over the list price? We don’t recommend doing this, but StockX is a reputable eBay-style site that will let you buy a new Xbox – provided you’re willing to pay $ 650 or more.
