No matter who wins the NHL West Conference final between the Blues and San Jose Sharks, or when they win, the Stanley Cup final will start with a Memorial Day game in Boston.
The Bruins, who swept Carolina in the Eastern Final and have been resting since Thursday night, will host the opening game of the Cup at 7pm. St. Louis time on May 27th.
The Blues have a 3-2 lead in the Western series, which continues at 7 pm. Tuesday at the Enterprise Center. If Game 7 is needed, the series will end at 8 pm (STL time) Thursday in San Jose.
Boston has the advantage of playing at home for the Cup final because of his regular season record. The Bruins had 107 points, 101 for San Jose and 99 for the Blues.
