The NFL’s biggest day is just around the corner, which means a slew of celebrities and artists are joining the players at Super Bowl 2021.

As the Kansas City Chiefs face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, many will be more focused on the illustrious Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show 2021 as well as the handful of performances that come to capitalize on the major televised event.

While the NFL promises to drop a few celebrity and artist surprises on the show, several stars have already been announced to perform in front of the 7,500 vaccinated healthcare workers who will be in attendance.

To help fans hungry for what to expect in between the action on the pitch, below is a look at all of the performers who will be making an appearance at Super Bowl LV on February 7.

The weekend

The first person announced to rock the stage at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida was “Blinding Lights” artist The Weeknd.

The artist, whose real name is Abel Tesfae, was confirmed in November as a performer on this year’s Halftime Show. The three-time Grammy-winning artist will do her best to fill the big shoes left behind after Jennifer Lopez and Shakira took the stage in 2020.

“The Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show is one of the most anticipated performances of the year and we are delighted to welcome The Weeknd on stage,” said Todd Kaplan, vice president of marketing at Pepsi, in a statement. press obtained by Fox News.

Country singer Eric Church announced Jan 19 that he will team up with 12 Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Jazmine Sullivan to perform “Star-Spangled Banner” before the big game.

As CMT notes, this will be the first time since 2017 that the national anthem has been played by a country artist when Luke Bryan performs at NRG Stadium in Houston. There was an even bigger gap before Bryan when Carrie Underwood performed the song in Miami during the 2010 game.

Church, a 10-time Grammy nominee, released her debut album in 2006 and topped the country charts with songs like “Drink In My Hand”, “Springsteen”, “Talladega” and “Record Year”. He has released multiple multiplatinum and platinum albums and was named Artist of the Year at last year’s Country Music Association Awards.

Sullivan, meanwhile, topped the R&B charts in 2008 with her debut single and album. She has won 12 Grammy nominations and writes songs for Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Hudson and Monica. His new album, “Heaux Tales,” debuted at # 4 on the Billboard 200 All Genre Albums chart this week.

The duo follow Demi Lovato, who performed the song on the 2020 show.

In addition to Church and Sullivan bringing a dose of patriotism to the event, the NFL announced that two-time Grammy winner HER will be on hand to perform “America the Beautiful.”

“HER joins critically acclaimed and award-winning America the Beautiful performers such as: Yolanda Adams, Leslie Odom Jr, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Phillipa Soo, Jasmine Cephas Jones and Alicia Keys,” the organization said in its announcement.

HER won two Grammys in 2019 and has received critical acclaim for her live performances, including his work as a guitarist. She has won top honors at the MTV Video Music Awards, BET Awards and Soul Train Music Awards and has launched R&B hits such as “Focus”, “Best Part”, “Slide”, “Damage” and “BS” with Jhené Aiko.

Warren “WAWA” Snipe

Writer, rapper and performer Warren “WAWA” Snipe will be on hand to help people sing along to the national anthem and “America the Beautiful” by performing the songs alongside them in American Sign Language.

Snipe, who is deaf, was announced alongside the other trio. He will work with Adam Blackstone, who will organize the performances of both songs.

The NFL announced Monday that Miley Cyrus will headline the NFL pre-game show TikTok Tailgate. The star will perform live for the 7,500 healthcare workers who were vaccinated against the coronavirus before the event.

“I’ll be there for TIKTOK TAILGATE! I can’t wait to put on a pre-game pre-game NFL guest of honor show … Health workers from Tampa and across the country!” the star wrote on Instagram to break the news.

Portions of Cyrus’ performance will be televised on the game’s main show on CBS ahead of the big game. The entire show can be watched on the popular video sharing app. In addition, the organization promises that the TikTok Tailgate show will provide a special surprise to the NFL, TikTok celebrities and guests of the musical performance joining the singer.

Like The Weeknd, Cyrus released her latest album “Plastic Hearts” in 2020. However, it is not known which of her many career hits she plans to play at the event.
