Who likes Rodriguez upsetting Dern?

The UFC is back in Las Vegas this week with a women’s strawweight showdown headlining.

In the main event, Mackenzie Dern (11-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) takes on Marina Rodriguez (14-1-2 MMA, 4-1-2 UFC) in a key fight at 115 pounds. Dern is a -180 favorite at Tipico; the return to Rodriguez is +140. Dern also has a pretty big edge in picking our 13 writers, editors, radio hosts and videographers, at 10-3.

In the co-feature, Randy Brown (13-4 MMA, 7-4 UFC) is a -240 favorite in his welterweight fight against Jared Gooden (18-6 MMA, 1-2 UFC). He’s also one of two unanimous picks on the main card at 13-0.

Also on the main card, former flyweight title challenger Tim Elliott (17-11-1 MMA, 6-9 UFC) meets Matheus Nicolau (16-2-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC). Nicolau is a -210 favorite and an almost unanimous choice. Only one of our pickers is upsetting Elliott.

Our most controversial fight on the main card is the women’s flyweight fight between Mariya Agapova (9-2 MMA, 1-1 UFC) and Sabina Mazo (9-2 MMA, 3-2 UFC). Mazo is a -180 favorite, but only has an 8-5 lead in picks.

And to open the main card, Felipe Colares (10-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) faces Chris Gutierrez (16-3-2 MMA, 4-1-1 UFC) at bantamweight. Gutierrez is a -250 favorite and our second unanimous pick.
