A very happy Thanksgiving weekend to all of you as we exit the actual holidays and now move forward with what will likely be a very non-traditional Black Friday.

Non-traditional not only because the doors of countless retail stores won’t be as full this year, but also because No.2 Notre Dame is playing a regular season game on a Friday that never happens and they spend Thanksgiving on the east coast instead of Southern California or the Bay Area on the west.

Notre Dame seems to be staying perfect this year, but the task ahead is anything but easy as they are in North Carolina. Don’t let the two losses fool you, this Tar Heels side can score points with the top teams and no lead has been too big for them not to come back in a game this year.

So what happens on Friday afternoon? Do the Irish remain undefeated? Or are North Carolina putting an end to dreams of a perfect season and making Ireland’s path to the college football playoffs even more difficult?

Here’s what the Fighting Irish Wire staff think, starting with Geoffrey Clark.
