SALT LAKE CITY – Well, it's official. The monster won "The Masked Singer".
In the final of Wednesday night's season, The Monster was the last participant to lift a mask, revealing itself to be T-Pain.
Several questions were raised during the season about the identity of the participants. Twitter has long thought that Donny Osmond was the peacock, while others considered Gladys Knight as the bee and CeeLo Green, the monster.
In the end, the bee was Gladys Knight, the peacock was Donny Osmond and the monster was T-Pain.
Season two: "The Masked Singer" was renewed for a second season at the end of January, as I reported for the Deseret News. "The Masked Singer" is apparently Fox's new most-rated series and hangs among the most broadcast shows on any network.
- Executive Producer Craig Plestis told the Hollywood Reporter that several celebrities were in mind for next season's edition.
- "I hope people will watch it and be inspired by the show, as in Korea and Thailand, it really makes a lot of people want to be in the show and surprise their kids when they watch the show." ", he said. "It's a family show out there, and a lot of parents go to the show and do not tell their family. So they look at it together and when the mask comes off, the kids go crazy.
