Who's performing at the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards?

A group of celebrity performers will meet in Las Vegas on April 7th for the 2019 Academy of Country Music Awards. More than two dozen artists will perform at the 54th edition of the event, hosted by Reba McEntire and celebrating the "biggest names and new talents of country music".

The list of artists performing at this year's Country Music Awards includes some of the biggest names in country music, including Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood. The artists announced up to here are:

Jason Aldean will also receive the Dickson ACM Award for Artist of the Decade, making him the fifth artist to receive this honor. Brooks & Dunn and Luke Combs, as well as George Strait and Miranda Lambert, will team up for ACM Flashbacks, where they will celebrate the classic country music hits.

Presenters include Clint Black, Game of thrones & # 39;s Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lady Antebellum, Jessie James Decker, Danica Patrick, Dennis Quaid, Wilmer Valderamma, among many others.

You can still get tickets to see the awards in person

Major awards events such as Oscars and Grammys are private events that are not open to the general public. But the Country Music Awards are an exception. If you are in Vegas this weekend, you may be able to get tickets to directly attend the rewards at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

The price of tickets available varies from $ 375 to $ 600, taxes and fees not included. The doors open at 15:30 and everyone must be seated at 16:30. The event starts at 17 hours. And do not think about showing off in your flip-flops – participants should wear a cocktail or casual outfit.

Who are this year's nominees?

Chris Stapleton, Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney and Luke Bryan are among the ACM finalists for the show of the year.

Nominated male artist of the year are Stapleton, Bentley Dierks, Urban, Luke Combs and Thomas Rhett. Nominated women artists of the year are Ashley McBryde, Carrie Underwood, Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris and Miranda Lambert. Lady Antebellum, LANCO, Little Big Town, Midland and Old Dominion are nominated for the group of the year. Brothers Osborne, Dan + Shay, Georgia Georgia Line, LOCASH and Maddie & Tae are nominated for duo of the year. You can see the full list of nominees on the Academy of Country Music website.

The 54th Academy of Country Music Awards will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, April 7th at 8pm. ET (PT delayed) on CBS.
