Why did the 2019 version of Microsoft not launch a new surface book?

Last week saw Microsoft hold its annual developer conference, and there was a lot of news coming from Build 2019 – including updating the Edge browser, Augmented reality Minecraft for mobiles, and the launch of Windows Terminal.
