Made Miranda Lambert shadow Blake Shelton at the 2019 ACM Awards? Some fans think that the 35-year-old singer took a little crazy with her ex during her performance at the Sunday night awards ceremony.
The Grammy double winner took the stage at the MGM Grand Las Vegas to perform a medley of some of her biggest hits. However, some fans have noticed that she had slightly changed one of the lyrics of her song "Little Red Wagon".
Instead of singing "I live in Oklahoma" as it did in the original version, Lambert sang the words "I 've had the hell out of Oklahoma. " As country music lovers remind us, Lambert lived in Oklahoma with Shelton during their four-year marriage.
Of course, several fans have taken the little tweak.
"Miranda Lambert just sang" get out of Oklahoma "with Blake Shelton in the room and I have a lot of respect," wrote a Twitter user.
"HAHAHAHAHA MIRANDA LAMBERT SINGING" I had the hell out of Oklahoma "ACMS IS A MOOD," writes another.
However, fans should not be too surprised by the editing. After all, Lambert has already played the melody with the lyrics updated.
In fact, Shelton may have missed the performance. An insider told E! News the country singer and his main wife Gwen Stefani have not been spotted during the number.
Nevertheless, it seems that the two stars have passed since the end of the program in 2015. Shelton has been with Stefani for more than three years and Lambert has recently tied the knot with Brendan McLoughlin. The two men walked together for the first time on the red carpet since they said "yes" before the awards ceremony.
Do not miss E! New every night of the week at 7 pm, only on E!
