Anchor George Stephanopoulos said Strahan was grateful to everyone who reached out and gave their best wishes.
“He is also feeling good and looking forward to coming back here soon,” said Stephanopoulos.
Stephanopoulos said everyone working at “ GMA ”, both on and off camera, has been cleared by Disney to be in the studio after contact tracing as per CDC guidelines.

Roberts said she texted Strahan, who said her dog Enzo was keeping him warm.
Strahan, who also provides analysis on the pre-game show “Fox NFL Sunday”, appeared remotely during last Sunday’s NFC Championship game. Strahan, however, has also made remote appearances for much of the season for the Network’s Thursday Night games so as not to clash with his “GMA” schedule.
Strahan, 49, has been away from ABC’s morning show all week and remains uncertain when he will be again.
He’s been a part of “Good Morning America” since 2016 and has been on Fox’s NFL coverage since his retirement after the New York Giants won the third of their four Super Bowl titles this season. 2007.
