We live in a world obsessed with celebrities, politicians and members of the royal family, especially with regard to British royalty and British paparazzi. It can be hard to remember that these people are human and that they deserve at least a little privacy.

From the time Meghan Markle was associated with Prince Harry, she could not rest from the press. And most of what they said is simply rude, if not complete. Do not get us started on all the online trolls she has to endure all the time.

The truth is that Meghan, like all other women, probably wants a little privacy. When it comes to family, babies and birth, the public should not expect total transparency. That's why the Duchess of Sussex owes nothing to the media.

The media war with Meghan Markle

Since the media heard that Harry was dating an American actress, the media did everything to drag his name and relationship into the mud. The days leading up to the royal wedding only fueled rumors and dramas. Most people could see that Harry was clearly in love with Meghan, but the media was trying to make her look like a social mountaineer.

Resistant, as always, Harry stood near Meghan. When official announcements announced that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were expecting their first baby, the press intensified their coverage. This is normal for royal pregnancies. What is not normal is the bad reputation that followed.

It all started when the media started receiving information that Meghan and Harry wanted to keep the birth and the baby secret. They wanted to spend time alone with their family before praying to their newborns in front of the cameras and the world.

This sounds like a reasonable request since they are new parents. What woman wants to stand before paparazzi a few hours after giving birth? The fact that Princess Diana and Kate Middleton did so does not mean it's a tradition or a necessity.
