Rachel Uchitel finally tells his side of the story.
The former hostess of the nightclub was put in the spotlight when her affair with Tiger woods made national headlines in late 2009, but for years she was silent about the whole experience. Then one day, Matthew Hamachek, the co-director of HBO’s tiger—A two-part documentary offering a revealing look at the rise, fall, and epic return of the global icon — approached her about the project, in which she ultimately agreed to participate.
Why? To break his silence once for all, Rachel explained in the Tuesday Jan.12 episode of Pop of the day.
“I spent 10 years not speaking and letting people call me so many names, and I really experienced a budget version of my life,” Celebrity Rehab alum told E! Carissa Culiner and Justin sylvester. “And I think so many people can really relate to that in their own lives, feeling like they can’t get out of the first act of their life, and they really want to move on to the second act and you’ve been, like in chains by this. “
“I just felt like, you know what? I’m going to tell my story,” Rachel added. “I want to do it with someone credible, and I want to do it with people I trust. I’m going to do it once.”
