The Raiders have closely watched Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins. They appreciate his abilities as a smart and powerful smuggler and begin to know him during this preliminary process.
They met him at the 2018 NFL Scouting Combine. Mike Mayock and other Raiders staffers were present at the Ohio State Pro Day Wednesday morning to get an idea of Haskins, striker Nick Bosa, although he did not work, and several other Buckeyes worthy of the projects.

They met Kyler Murray of Oklahoma at the combine and offensive coordinator Greg Olson was on his professional day. A private training session with Murray is also planned.
Putting under microscopic control Haskins could be part of the due diligence when evaluating the quarterbacks, but it could be available when the Raiders choose the 4th place overall, unless the quarterback is very fast as during in recent years.
It's hard to say exactly, especially at a time when teams are installing smoke screens to cover their true intentions.
The Raiders should tackle their defensive line at # 4 and then again in the NFL project – this is by far the team's biggest need – but nothing is ever certain, Gruden making the decisions finals.
Gruden and Mayock congratulated Derek Carr at every turn. At this point, we're still expecting him to be the team's starting quarterback in 2019. It's a convincing year for Carr, who must show a growing pattern and of Gruden's production with Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams at the head of the body of the receivers.
