Wild Halo Infinite Bug creates an endless wave of wet floor panels

It has been said time and time again, but video games are very difficult to make and stupid complex. So there will always be bugs. Some bugs are annoying and ruin a game. Other bugs, like some that appear in the Infinite halo beta, are funny and just fun to watch. Let’s take a look at a few!

The Infinite halo beta or TECHNICAL OVERVIEW (I must at least tell the real name one or more Halo nerds will come here and yell at me) is happening over the next few days. This latest beta follow-up includes more content as well as some corrections and modifications following feedback from players of this first attempt. Until there, it’s even better than before. But as you would expect with software still in development, there were a few bugs!

My favorite so far is a bug that has become very popular on Reddit and Twitter. Throwing a Dynamo Grenade at a wet floor panel spawns more panels. It should probably be destroyed, but for some reason the game creates waves of yellow signs instead. You can keep throwing dynamos and Halo will just keep signs of spawning. Some players have filled rooms with these things. That’s wonderful.

Do not worry. There are also more videos on YouTube.

I’m impressed that in most of the clips I’ve seen of people making (and abusing) this bug, Halo the performance does not seem to drop too much, if at all. I say, keep the bug in the game as a mutator or setting that I can activate with friends.

Another stupid bug that has a much bigger impact on gameplay involves people swap weapons while doing a melee attack, thus negating the animation allowing you to trigger a burst of deadly punchs.

Okay, again I understand why people would want this fixed from the main game, but 343 listen to me: keep this in the optional game so my friends and I can have some silly, crazy fist fights as endless waves of wet ground the signs rain around us.

Or fix it. No matter.

Infinite halo published on December 8, 2021, for Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, PC and will be available on Day 1 via Microsoft’s Game Pass. When launched, it will not include a campaign co-op. 343 plans to add this mode in 2022.
