Wild trade Mikael Granlund to Predators for Kevin Fiala – The Athletic


A mere hockey exchange shakes even more the Minnesota core, like the Wild boat off Mikael Granlund to the Predators in exchange for Swiss winger Kevin Fiala, who is a free agent under restriction. This is the latest in a long list of decisions by Wild's chief executive, Paul Fenton, looking for ways to shake his team. Meanwhile, Nashville has added a legitimate winger among the top six at Granlund, which should also be a tremendous boost for the power play.
