"In the second season, we will join Christina as her design business grows and her relationships with her friends and family, including her husband and newborn," said Jane Latman, President of HGTV. "Everyone is committed to her and her family as they build a new life."

Christina on the coast was a ratings win for the network of home design and real estate. HGTV ranks second among cable channels in the time slot of the show during its broadcast. According to the network, more than 12 million viewers watched the first season.

Naturally, Anstead was pleased to say that his show would return on television.
