Since Kevin Hart stopped hosting the Oscars about eight hundred years ago, following the endless skirmish of the Academy around this year's ceremony is a full-time job. For those who still do not know what to expect after the last red carpet interview this Sunday, we've compiled a list of the latest announcements from the Academy. Do not forget that this year more than ever, these facts are likely to evolve.

After letting speculate on the choice of 2019 Oscars organizers long after Thanksgiving, the Academy announced that Kevin Hart would be their host in early December. After Hart's homophobic tweets from 2009 to 2011 drew negative attention to the host's choice of the Academy, Hart refused to apologize and instead resigned. Rather than finding a replacement, the Oscars announced that they would go without hostility for the second time in the history of the ceremony. On February 20, rumors circulated that Whoopi Goldberg could be a secret host, but ABC denied the story.

Of all five nominees! Plus, at least one extra. After initially announcing that they would only stage two of the five songs nominated at the ceremony, the Academy bowed to critics and announced that all five would occur. These are:

• Bette Midler interpreting "The place where lost things go" from Mary Poppins is back.

• Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper (do not Jackson Maine!) Interpreter "Shallow" of A star is born.

• Jennifer Hudson singing "I'm Fight" from RBG.

• Gillian Welch and David Rawlings (sorry, Tim Blake Nelson-Heads) duet on "When a cowboy swaps his spurs for wings" The ballad of Buster Scruggs.

• A still unannounced artist – Kendrick Lamar and SZA, original performers – singing "All the Stars" from Black Panther.

On February 19, the Academy tweeted that Adam Lambert and Queen would also play on the show (probably without the voice of Rami Malek being "mixed").

On February 1, the Academy announced that it would end the tradition of presenting the trophies to their successors by the four interim winners of the previous year, and that they would instead seek bigger stars for present these major awards. The fans were not happy and Allison Janney, best actress in a supporting role in 2018, was canceled by the Academy. The new presentation range is:

For the categories of actors:

• Allison Janney
• Frances McDormand
• Sam Rockwell
• Gary Oldman

For the eight nominees of the best film, a selection of notables not related to the films will present each film. Serena Williams has already been revealed as A star is bornRepresentative, but you can possibly find the rest yourself:

• Chef Jose Andres
• Dana Carvey
• Queen Latifah
• John lewis
• Diego Luna
• Tom Morello
• Mike Myers
• Trevor Noah
• Amandla Stenberg
• Barbra Streisand

The first three waves of presenters announced are:

Elsie Fisher, Danai Gurira, Brian Tyree Henry, Michael B. Jordan, Michael Keaton, Helen Mirren, John Mulaney, Tyler Perry, Pharrell Williams, Krysten Ritter, Paul Rudd and Michelle Yeoh.

Javier Bardem, Angela Bassett, Chadwick Boseman, Emilia Clarke, Laura Dern, Samuel L. Jackson, Stephan James, Keegan-Michael Key, KiKi Layne, McAvoy James, Melissa McCarthy, Jason Momoa and Sarah Paulson.

Awkwafina, Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Tina Fey, Brie Larson, Jennifer Lopez, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Charlize Theron, Tessa Thompson and Constance Wu.

On February 18, Oscar production designer David Korins presented for the first time an overview of his project for the Dolby Theater, titled "CRYSTAL CLOUD", the proscenium waving gold. However, many have noted its striking resemblance to a certain presidential cut. Korins added that "we have about 40,000 real roses on stage", but did not reveal whether Kenny G would be stuck with them or not.

In February, the Academy announced that four awards, including that of Academy President John Bailey, would be removed from the broadcast, awarded during commercial breaks and rebroadcast later in the evening. After facing a strong reaction from apparently all Hollywood, the Academy overturned its decision, announcing that it would give each winner "90 seconds" of traditional live coverage.

This particular idea was abandoned in September.

His do not a musical comedy in a musical by Gene Kelly, nor is it a purebred Triple Crown winner, despite his name insist other. It's an espionage procedure that ABC hoped to lead to the broadcast of the Oscars, This is us-after-style Super Bowl. Many thought that was the reason behind the various efforts of the Academy (I want to say "diets" but I will not say "diets") to limit the broadcast to three hours, although conventional wisdom cites factors such as increasing ratings and broadening the appeal.

The Oscars will be broadcast live on February 24 at 8pm. AND on ABC, all 24 categories and five songs – and previews for Bourbon Chavelier or whatever – intact.
