Windows 10 1903 now has problems with network cards

Microsoft has recognized another problem in Windows 10 version 1903 in which users reported that their network cards suddenly stopped working after installing a cumulative update.

In the Windows 10 Health Dashboard, Microsoft said that some Intel and Broadcom Wi-Fi adapters have compatibility issues with NEC computers and will cause the adapter to hang.

For the moment, however, Microsoft has issued a compatibility lock on the affected devices, so that the Windows 10 version 1903 update will not be offered.

Microsoft releases workaround

To work around the problem, Microsoft has indicated that you can simply right-click on the wireless adapter and select Activate for the adapter to work again.

"If you are using an affected device and have already installed Windows 10, version 1903, you can mitigate the problem by disabling and then re-enabling the Wi-Fi adapter in Device Manager." You should now be able to use Wi -Fif until your next reboot. "
