Windows phones running the Windows 10 Mobile operating system have now received an update which brought the operating system to version 15254.575.
This latest update fixes a problem with the BitLocker encryption recovery mode and enhances security when using the Microsoft Edge browser and Microsoft Office and during a wireless connection to Microsoft. other devices and services.

This update includes quality improvements. Key changes include:
- Resolves an issue that may cause BitLocker to go into recovery mode if BitLocker is configured at the same time as installing updates.
- Security Updates for Windows Wireless Networking, Windows Server, Microsoft Scripting Engine, Windows Storage and File Systems, Microsoft Graphical Component, Internet Explorer, Windows Input and Composition, Virtualization Windows, Windows platform and applications, Windows fundamentals, Windows kernel, Microsoft Edge and Windows cryptography.
If you have installed earlier updates, only the new patches contained in this package will be downloaded and installed on your device.
The official Release Notes Web page reminds users that the Windows 10 Mobile platform will no longer be supported starting December 10, after which no security or feature updates will be provided.
The end of support for Windows phones is not a secret, however, and most users will have already migrated to an iPhone or Android smartphone. Those who are not strongly encouraged to find a replacement device before the end of the year.
