Winners, video clips, notes for the latest SmackDown Live

WWE Champion Kofi Kingston launched SmackDown Live and Michael Cole was already in the ring when he entered. Cole reminded us of the ups and downs of Kofi's career in the last few months before tackling the real problem, Kevin Owens.

Last week, KO betrayed New Day and stunned Kofi before jumping on his head while holding the championship belt. Kingston said that he thought KO could change, but he was mistaken.

Kofi said that if KO wanted a title, all he had to do was ask. He offered Owens a match at Money in the Bank and KO came out and accepted the challenge.

The two men were arguing when Xavier Woods attacked Owens from behind and KO hit a superkick, knocking down Woods. Kofi came to the rescue and knocked out before the end of the segment.

Bayley against Becky Lynch

Becky put Bayley in a head and then knocked her out. Bayley tried to counter but was thrown to the ground. Bayley put down a clothesline and then a knee in the face, but Becky disengaged herself.

Bayley tried a short cover, but Becky was fired. Bayley landed a suplex and headed up to put an elbow. Becky lifted her leg and hit the Dis-Arm-Her on Bayley, who tapped outside.

Result: Becky Lynch def. Bayley

Charlotte Flair attacked Becky and Bayley after the match and pulled them out of the ring with little effort. She then stood in the middle of the ring and taunted the two Superstars before the end of the segment.

A short promotion behind the scenes for Aleister Black appeared before the commercials that exhibited a little more exposure of his character. The Hardy Boyz were next door and about to make an important announcement.
