Wisconsin building catches fire; "Miraculous" that all the occupants have represented, says an official

A Wisconsin building was burned by the flames during the night and the Fire Chief stated that it was "miraculous" that all of his occupants were taken into account.

Several emergency calls were held early Saturday Saturday over a fire at the White Oaks Apartments, a 62 unit building located in Bayside, officials said the relief and fire service from North Shore, according to the Associated Press agency.

It is believed that the rapidly moving fire has started on a higher floor, said Fire Chief Robert Whitaker.

More than a dozen people have been rescued and a few slightly injured people have benefited from medical treatment, officials said. No deaths have been reported, according to Fox 6 Now.

The fire and rescue service shared photos on Facebook, which showed on-site responders and vast plumes of smoke illuminated by orange flames.

The Red Cross has set up a shelter for residents of Fox Point, nearby.

Bayside is about 11 miles north of Milwaukee.
