A Wisconsin man accused of helping a 14-year-old girl escape sexual violence in exchange for a video of her rape pleaded not guilty to sexual exploitation to a child.

The Knoxville News Sentinel reports that Bryan Rogers, 31, also pleaded not guilty Thursday for making false statements. Authorities said Rodgers had met the Tennessee teenager in the Roblox online game in December and that she had told him that she was being raped by her adoptive father.

They say that Rodgers offered to help her escape if she provided him with "clear video evidence" to not have any trouble getting her from her home. The court records indicate that he received the video in January and brought it to his home in Madison a few days later. The adoptive father of the girl was arrested for rape.
