Pay $ 9.99 per month for Spotify Premium? You can now get a free Hulu on the side.

In a new partnership announced Tuesday, the two popular streaming services have announced that they will team up, with the kit available to new and existing Spotify Premium subscribers.

Hulu currently charges $ 5.99 per month for its ad-supported option associated with Spotify.

If you are already a Spotify Premium subscriber, you can add Hulu by logging into the "Your Services" page of the Spotify website. New Spotify users will have access to both services for 30 days for free and will then pay $ 9.99 per month.

Those who have signed up for the Spotify / Hulu partnership last year will automatically see their $ 12.99 per month discounted to $ 9.99.

The agreement is in effect until June 10. Interested people may want to act quickly.

It is currently unclear whether those who already pay Hulu will be able to add Spotify Premium to their accounts. Similarly, it is unclear whether the offer will apply to people benefiting from Spotify family packages at $ 14.99 per month.

The announcement of the partnership comes one day after Apple has announced that it will hold an event on March 25 in Cupertino, California. After years of rumors, Apple, which already offers Apple Music, its rival to Spotify, should finally unveil its new video streaming service that could have the support of Hollywood heavyweights.

Bloomberg recently announced that a number of Hollywood stars could be present at the event, including Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Garner and director J.J. Abrams.
