Even after stepping down from their official duties as the British Royal Family and going into self-exile in the United States, there is still a lot of noise about Meghan and Harry.
The world-famous couple can’t escape tabloid coverage wherever they go – be it the UK or the US – and it’s not clear they even try to do so.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the UK saying they wanted to live a normal life – but critics accused them of continuing to use Harry’s legacy to earn money.

They sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a two-hour interview, which airs Sunday, to tell their side of the story.

And on this side of the Atlantic, some critics say they just don’t care about the gossip surrounding the royal family.
“I’m certainly not in love with British royalty, but Meghan Markle had to know what royal life was going to be like before she got married there – unless it was totally meaningless,” the former wrote New York GOP representative Pete King in a Facebook post. “And if the two weren’t happy, they should have left and not started their self-pity tour.”

King argued that there was enough “sadness and tragedy in the world” without having to worry about “these two narcissists”.

“The selfish complaints of pampered malcontents only deserve to be ignored,” King wrote. “These two should get real jobs and be gone for a while!”
Conservative activist Candace Owens echoed the sentiment, calling Meghan a “typical Hollywood narcissist” for setting up the interview with Winfrey to begin with.
But Meghan is not without its supporters.
Canadian actor Patrick J. Adams, who co-starred alongside him on “Suits,” defended Markle from UK critics, called him “OBSCENE” for the Royal Family to “amplify” the allegations. which she was a bully and argued that the monarchy has “outlived its relevance.”

And Meena Harris, Vice President Kamala Harris’ niece, said anyone who criticizes Markle is “racist.”
Teasers released ahead of the interview showed Harry expressing fear that the media frenzy surrounding the couple could lead to something tragic, like when his mother, Princess Diana, died in a car crash while she was pursued by paparazzi.
The interview is expected to bring in millions of dollars in advertising money, and in response to a Wall Street Journal report that CBS paid $ 7 million for the right to air the interview, former Trump 2020 adviser Jason Miller said, “What a waste.”

Meghan, an American, also apparently angered British commentator Piers Morgan, who called her “dishonest” and said he wanted to ban British princes from marrying Americans.
On Wednesday, the royal palace announced a human resources investigation into allegations that Meghan harassed staff in 2018.
