Wolfenstein: Youngblood was unveiled at E3 2018 and promised a cooperative trip to Paris in the 1980s. The publisher Bethesda announced the release of the game on July 26.

In addition, the company revealed more details about its cooperative game. Specifically, it indicates that those who buy the luxury edition can invite one friend at a time to play with them online at no additional cost, using the game's Buddy Pass. The chosen friend can download and play as much as he wishes, for free, provided you play with the owner of the luxury edition. They can then switch to the full game to play when they want and with their friends. Alternatively, if you do not like the idea of playing online with a friend, you can use the help of an AI teammate.

The luxury edition also includes an array of cosmetic items being part of the Cyborg Skin Pack, while players who pre-order a version of the game will receive a selection of cosmetics called Legacy Pack. Prices for both editions have yet to be announced.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood arrives on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. It stars the sisters Jess and Soph, looking for their lost father and the pillar of the series, BJ Blazkowicz.

Bethesda recently confirmed that Youngblood – as well as Rage 2, Eternal Doom and other publisher titles – will still be published on Steam, despite the recent trend of PC games to replace the Valve store by its equivalent of Epic.
