“Things just kept piling up and piling up. I was very happy that I got to spend every second with him that I could.”
The 29-year-old musician recently released a song in honor of his father and told “ET” that he was happy his father was able to hear his new music before he died of cancer in October at the age of 65. .

“I don’t know what I would do if I could never hear him react to my music,” his son said.

“I am really lucky to have been able to experience this.”

“All I had to do was go home and say, ‘Hey, I got the video,’ and she started crying before I even watched it,” he says. “She’s looked at him countless times. She’s probably down on the couch right now watching him.”
