Woman accused of stealing four 7-Elevens in less than an hour in ‘criminal frenzy’: prosecutors

Short, who allegedly carried out the thefts with an uncharged accomplice, was arrested around 11:20 p.m. Thursday in the first block of South Halsted Street after driving a Ford SUV linked to the four thefts. She was never given a driver’s license and was also cited for it, prosecutors said.
