A woman was rescued Thursday from an SUV who was hanging on the side of the Florida garage for nearly an hour.

Miami-Dade fire brigade rescue teams responded to the second floor of a parking garage in Miami Springs around 4:25 pm. On Thursday, the authorities announced that the vehicle – a white SUV Lexus – was on the verge of falling on the concrete driveway below.

And the driver was trapped inside.

Authorities said the sport utility vehicle was precariously suspended at the garage.

"A very precarious position, the vehicle was trapped by a few inches of metal on the tailgate," said MDFR chief Danny Cardeso. "It was the only thing that prevented him from falling."
