A woman from upstate New York recently discovered an unusual catch. A photo of the atypical creature shows thousands of people on Facebook trying to understand it.
Debbie Geddes told Fox News that she was fishing in Lake Champlain with her husband when she caught a fish that seemed to have two mouths.
"When this fish bit, I had the impression of having a good fish," she said. "In fact, I commented:" I hope it is as big as it looks! "When we arrived in the boat, I could not believe what I saw!" Two mouths! And yet, this fish was healthy and prosperous! Very good! "

Geddes took several pictures of the fish before releasing it. She then shared one of the photos with her colleague, Adam Facteau, who then posted it on a Facebook page and owned by Knotty Boys Fishing, a competitive fishing team.
"She was not convinced that anyone would care about fishing," he said. "I knew it would be popular. "
Since then, the message has become viral: more than 7,000 people have shared it and more than 1,000 people have commented on it Thursday afternoon.
"I just can not believe all the attention it has received," Geddes said. "The answers / theories of the public are very interesting, to say the least: I personally think that this was caused by a previous injury, probably that of another fisherman."
Other people have jokingly speculated that the fish was deformed because of the sewage in the water.
"Are raw sewage or nuclear waste being dumped?" a person asked.
"That's why I do not eat anything that comes out of the lake and we do not swim in the water," said another.
Despite the many theories behind the strange appearance of the fish, Facteau said that he knew one thing for sure.
"Anyway, it's a take on life that has a lot of public opinion," he said.
