Some people have all the luck, says the proverb.
On February 11, that person was Deborah Brown. The Richmond resident won the Virginia lottery 30 times that day after purchasing 30 Pick 4 tickets with the exact same 1-0-3-1 combination.
Brown originally purchased 20 tickets with this suit at a Chesterfield County gas station.
"A few times during the day, I saw those numbers," Brown said when she recently claimed her winnings.
So later that day, she bought another 10 tickets at the same place with the same numbers.
The first prize of Pick 4 for $ 1 is $ 5,000. The prints take place every day at 13:59. and 23 hours
On the night of the Feb. 4 draw, each of Brown's 30 pieces won first prize of $ 150,000.
"I almost had a heart attack," Brown said, according to a Virginia lottery release.
Chances of matching the four numbers in order are 1 in 10,000, said Virginia Lottery.
Brown has no immediate plans for her earnings, the statement said, but plans to renovate her home.
