Lynda Carter broke her silence on the death of her 37-year-old husband Robert A. Altman.
The game’s CEO died last week at age 73.
The “Wonder Woman” star took to Instagram on Wednesday where she mourned the loss of her spouse.
“A week ago my beloved husband Robert A. Altman passed away,” the 69-year-old wrote in a black and white photo of the couple.

“Robert is the love of my life and he always will be,” said the actress. “Our 37 years of marriage has been an amazing gift. We shared the passion that I hope everyone has the chance to live in their lifetime. We have protected each other and have always been champions of each other . “
“We have always been thankful for the two beautiful lives we have created together: our children, Jessica and James,” Carter continued. “They are the lights of my life and were Robert’s greatest joy. I see so much of Robert in them, and I know he lives through them.
“To all the fans who shared their condolences: Jessica, James and I would like to thank you. We especially love hearing about the times you met Robert at concerts or through his work in the video game world. He loved meeting you and hearing your stories. “
Carter also wrote a heartbreaking message for Altman.

“To Robert: you are the most honorable person I have ever had the privilege of knowing,” she said. “And I must be your wife and the mother of your children. Thank you for giving me all the love of my life.”
On January 29, the couple celebrated their wedding anniversary. At the time, Carter uploaded a photo of the two sharing a gentle hug.
“We remember all those times at the airport when we lived thousands of miles apart, traveling the country to be together so many years ago,” Carter said. “After 37 years, I am still grateful to wake up next to you every day. Happy birthday, my love.”
Altman’s death has been confirmed by Bethesda.

“We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Robert A. Altman, our founder and CEO,” the statement read. “He was a true visionary, a friend and a believer in the spirit of people and the power of what they could accomplish together. He was an amazing leader, and an even better human being.
A cause of death has not been revealed.
The couple originally married in 1984.
