Woody Allen faces more play

A few days after Scarlett Johansson defended him on charges of molestation, Woody Allen spoke of the #MeToo movement.
Allen was swept away by the move when in 2017, his adoptive daughter, Dylan Farrow, reiterated his claims that he had assaulted her at the age of 7. Allen has denied the charges against him since their first appearance in 2014.
The 83-year-old filmmaker explained in a new interview that he did not understand why he was not defended by supporters of the # MeToo movement.

"I have worked with hundreds of actresses [and] none of them ever complained about me, not a single complaint. Allen also asked if he feared being blacklisted in Hollywood, like so many other men who have been facing similar allegations of sexual misconduct. Director Annie Hall explained that although he is a filmmaker, his confidence in Hollywood is not very strong.
