Woody Allen’s sister and business partner has spoken out against CBS for waiting to air his interview in which he denies Dylan Farrow’s allegation that he sexually assaulted her so far, while filming in 2020, and put behind a payment wall.

Allen was interviewed by CBS Sunday Morning to promote his autobiography last year. As part of the interview, he denied his adopted daughter’s longstanding allegation that he sexually assaulted her when she was seven.

He has denied the allegation in the past, but it was given new life thanks to an HBO Max documentary that was released last month.

CBS put Allen’s interview on Paramount + this week. They billed it as his first major interview in three decades.

Now Allen’s sister Letty Aronson says the network misled them and “lied” to them.

‘They lied to us month after month finally breaking their hat of words it would be about Woody’s career and the new book and playing without any controversy (we don’t do that on our Sunday morning show) she told the showbiz blog Showbiz411.

She also said it wasn’t fair for the network to now bill its subscribers when Allen himself “ got unpaid. ”

She later told Variety: ‘When the CBS morning show was taped we were told it was about her career and her book. At that time, nothing was said about making a program back and forth regarding the absurd controversy.

It is on this basis that we agreed to do the show. It wasn’t until recently that we found out that they incorporated Dylan when it was released on Paramount.

In the interview, Allen said that if he denies the allegations, he believes Dylan believes them to be true.

“ I think she thinks it, ” Allen, 85, told CBS Sunday Morning reporter Lee Cowan.

“She was a good kid. I don’t think she is inventing. I don’t believe she is lying. I believe she believes it.

“It’s so absurd, and yet the smear stuck,” Allen said. And they still prefer to hang on if not the idea that I assaulted Dylan, the possibility that I assaulted her. Nothing that I have ever done with Dylan in my life can be interpreted like this.

“There was no sense in that at first glance. Why is a guy who is 57 and has never been accused of anything in my life, I will suddenly drive in the middle of a contentious fight for custody at Mia’s country house (with) a girl 7 years old.

“It’s just – on the surface, I didn’t even think it needed an investigation.

The second episode of Allen v. Farrow, which aired earlier this month, featured home video footage of then-seven-year-old Dylan accusing her adoptive father Allen of ‘touching his soldiers’.

Dylan alleges that Allen touched her inappropriately twice when the couple were alone.

According to the documentary, Allen was caught kneeling on the ground with his head buried in Dylan’s lap in August 1992.

The seven-year-old had no underwear after the incident, Mia claims.

A second alleged incident took place in the attic, after Allen asked his adopted daughter, ‘What about father-daughter time? ”.

In the video, Dylan, prompted by Mia, claims that Allen touched her private parts while they were together in the attic.

“Did he hit your front end?” Mia asks again, to which Dylan responds, “yeah”.

In another part of the video, Mia asks, ‘Do you want to tell me what daddy said in the attic when you were in the attic? ”

Dylan responds by saying that he told her, “ Don’t move, I have to do this. ”
