Voxel soldiers fight the giant voxel aliens invading their voxel planet Earth Defense Force: World Brothers. This colorful new version of the beloved budget shooters series launches in all regions on May 27 for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC.
Brothers of the world is a stylized love letter to D3Publisher’s long series, a bit lightweight Take on a bunch of already relatively light games about humans being attacked by ants and giant spiders. Fans of the series can expect tons of references to older games, from retired character classes to classic weapons and enemies, as well as new things.
All three versions support online cooperative play for up to four players. The Switch version can also perform local four-player LAN playback, while the PS4 supports two-player split screen. Here is a trailer. It looks nice.
I love this silly series and can’t wait to let off some steam with this new version of voxel. Hopefully the voxels will make the spiders less scary. Probably not.
