World of Warcraft: Best DPS in Shadowlands Pre-Patch

To help players with the changes to World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, here’s which class can deal the most damage.

World of warcraft fans can expect to receive a new expansion pack and source of adventure, Shadowlands, in the near future.

Blizzard Entertainment has worked hard to bring many expansions to World of warcraft over the years. Shadowlands is the 8th expansion released for the game in sixteen years of activity, and now World of warcraft liberated the pre-patch for the expansion so that it is readily available for players to try.

As with any new expansion, Shadowlands has already included several class and system updates. These changes normally affect the amount of damage and HP scaling of each class, and also signal the end of certain features of Battle for Azeroth. A key difference this update made is the damage per second (DPS) output for each class.

According to the Warcraft Logs, Ranks are based on the first week of the pre-patch and how they’ve progressed in the Overall Ranking System since the end of Battle for Azeroth Season 4. Currently, the class at the top is the Shadow Priest, in part because the Azerite Trait is incredibly strong with the increase in the number of spawns that appear compared to Battle for Azeroth, as well as the class leveling scale which complements the statistics of Shadowlands.

The class that has been hit the hardest is the Warlock Demonologist, who dropped from 6th to 23rd place. Due to the corruption loss, the player has lost an insane amount of haste, so Demonologists can now generate less Soul Shards and cannot cast as many spells from their Demonic Tyrant. Since all of the classroom construction focused on polishing, it was heavily disrupted due to the changes.

These updates are only based on the first week, and it’s still possible that Blizzard Entertainment may be able to balance the courses over time. These changes affect all players whether or not they purchased the pre-patch, so it’s important to keep an eye on how classes change from here on out. Hopefully, this will help gamers adjust to the new updates brought to the game, as Shadowlands is now the bestseller World of warcraft expansion in terms of pre-orders. Thus, it will be important for players to adjust their builds and keep pace.

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will be released on November 23 for PC.
