Mid-Atlantic Champion Elmora Troopers, of Elizabeth, New Jersey, defeated New England champion Barrington, Rhode Island, 2-0 at the World Series Little League 2019, Tuesday, August 20, 2019 (8/20/19) at the Lamade Stadium. in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Elmora broke the tie with two points in the beginning of the sixth inning on a double, a single and a faceoff.

Sal Garcia threw with a double in the center right. J.R. Rosado selected on the right, with Garcia in third position. Yadi Mateo is aligned with the Collin Crain flash stop, which made a diving piece. Rosado stole second place undisputed.

Capindica sank to second base, but when Garcia broke his feet, the shot went past the receiver and two runners scored.

"I pretended to go on the field," Garcia said. "When the second base player launched on the first, I took off."

Rosado was relieved in the fifth inning and eliminated Rhode Island's biggest threat. With the runners in first and second places, Rosado withdrew two goals and ended the inning on a virgin field.

Elmora pitchers Garcia, Rosado and Capindica allied themselves with a batter to keep Elmora alive. Rhode Island got its first shot of the game on an infield single with two outs in the sixth. Capindica relieved to leave the final.

Elmora, who has five wins in the win, will meet Louisiana at 11 am Wednesday.

Rhode Island is eliminated from the tournament.
