Even though she wasn’t here for the second season, DWTS pro Sharna burgess recalls receiving videos of Master P’s performances. “Everything was awful. But everyone was just figuring out this new show at that time, I think. “
same DTWS judge Carrie Anna Inaba agreed that Master P’s performance was lackluster. “I love her, but her dancing… well, you know,” she told Hollywood Life.
Although it seems professional dancers have come to a consensus that Master P was the worst dancer to ever honor the DWTS step, he is not bothered by criticism. “I had a great time,” he said during a 2015 panel, while New York Daily News reported. Master P explained that he wanted to bring positive attention to his hometown of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
“I knew people were going to laugh at me and laugh, but I say it’s worth it because I wanted to make sure we brought that light and hopefully bring some people together,” the rapper said. “And it worked.”
