Would anyone care if Google eliminated Daydream VR?

Google kills products all the time, but sometimes some people stay in place that no one apparently uses them. Today, Hulu revealed that it was abandoning the support of the Daydream VR platform and that this would make us think, would anyone really care if Google ended the whole platform? form?

Nomadic shell for Pixel 3

We are seeing end signs for Google Daydream for a while now. Earlier this year, the company's movie platform, Google Play Movies & TV, gained support from its old app. Hulu also disappeared after three years of support.

These applications are also not the first sign of Daydream's fate. The latest news from the platform was about a year old and Google has not updated its Daydream View helmet since 2017 either.

In addition, new devices are rarely certified to work with the platform. None of the Samsung 2019 smartphones are compatible with Daydream. What's even more telling is that Google's Pixel 3a phones do not have official Daydream support. If this is not a clear sign that Daydream VR is dead, I do not know what it is.

The question remains whether Google kills Daydream VR? How often do you use it? Let us know in the survey and comments below.
