World of Warcraft Classic is now available, allowing players to dive into the MMO before it gets expanded. The release is proving to be extremely popular, and strikingly. As one would expect, the players had to face long queues to get into the game. But the wait did not necessarily end once you went through waiting lines: those who made manage to find other queues. Reports on social networks show that players wait in queues in the game to complete quests.
Because players live in a common world and have similar goals, it means for example having to compete with other players to get the number of victims needed on a given type of enemy. If anyone wants you, you have to wait until they reappear. This has always been a problem in WoW, as in many MMOs, especially around unique patterns, for which there can only be one for everyone on a server to kill. But since everyone starts at level 1 and ends the same set of early game quests, it becomes extremely problematic.

This will probably not last as some players fall and others advance beyond the initial stages of the match, but for now, it's a show not to be missed.
Queuing in the departure areas may seem boring, but some people seem to understand it. "All these people waiting patiently in the queue to kill the boss in #WowClassic – that's the most polite thing I've ever seen in games, ever," wrote the user of Twitter @ Farore13.
The long lines seem to affect several WoW Classic servers. So there does not seem to be any waiting for the waiting. However, your mileage will undoubtedly vary and waiting times will surely decrease over time as players disperse on Azeroth. After all, WoW Classic was only released a few hours earlier, so expect a maximum influx of players into small areas.
A dramatic video posted on Reddit shows what it looks like when hundreds of players appear at the same time. It's pretty amazing to see.
It's not a completely new thing for online gamers to wait in literal lines in the game. You may remember that the day of the launch of the original version of The Division, people were making the queue to use a laptop.
