The wrestling community is rallying around Daffney Unger after the former professional wrestler shared videos of herself on Wednesday night.
“Don’t you understand that I’m all alone?” Unger said in tears on a live Instagram show while holding what appeared to be a pistol. “Remember, my brain is going to Boston.”
Georgia police attempted to locate the 46-year-old, according to TMZ, while fans and other wrestlers took to social media in an attempt to reach Unger (née Shannon Claire Spruill) after the videos were released. shared by the Skulls Media Twitter account.
Wednesday night Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful tweeted, “For those concerned about Daffney, emergency services have been contacted and sent to his last known address.”
In a second update, Sapp tweeted“Her family has been reached and at her current address. She had moved within the past two weeks. Police have been dispatched.”
Around the same time, WWE Legend Mick Foley said on Twitter that he attempted to contact Unger but “my phone call went straight to voicemail.”
He added, “If anyone has a way to reach Daffney Unger, or knows his address, please help. She is in a bad personal situation and threatens to harm herself.

Before that, Foley retweeted, “If anyone knows someone who knows Daffney Unger (the wrestler) personally, can someone contact her and verify that she is on IG live rn and she looks like she’s on point? to hurt yourself. ”
Wrestler Velvet Sky tweeted to Unger and included a photo of the couple and a message of encouragement.
“My girlfriend @screamqueendaff is hard as nails! All my love for you. You are never alone. So many people love you !! You are well my love ! You understand !! Sky wrote.
Unger made his debut in the World Championship Wrestling promotion in 1999.
