A “Wheel of Fortune” contestant became the topic of Twitter talk Thursday after failing to solve a few puzzles.
Melanie Fisher from California first captured viewers’ attention when she proudly informed host Pat Sajak that she had graduated from college in just three years while maintaining a perfect 4.0 GPA. A few minutes later, however, Fisher caused viewers to laugh when she failed to solve a puzzle that read “_ _ L _ Y GOO _ FELLO W.”
Fisher guessed incorrectly: “Jolly goof fellow,” to which Sajak replied, “Uh, no.” The candidate JR then solved it with the correct answer: “Jolly good fellow. “
Viewers at home couldn’t get enough of Fisher’s “goof” and took to Twitter to share their reactions.

“This woman will have JOLLY GOOF FELLOW on her gravestone”, another joked.
“Jolly goof fellow ?? I can’t #WheelOfFortune,” read another tweet.

Unfortunately for Fisher, his mistakes didn’t end there. Later in the game, she mistakenly guessed “wilkes and sheep” for a puzzle that was supposed to be “wolves and sheep”. Again, Twitter users couldn’t give up.

Despite the hiccups, Fisher finished in first place in the match, qualifying for the final puzzle. She failed to solve it correctly, but she pocketed $ 20,000 in total winnings.
