WWE has announced the creation of new comment teams with big changes for Raw and SmackDown.

according to WWE, the ad teams are:

RAW – Vic Joseph, Dio Maddin and Jerry Lawler

Friday Night SmackDown – Michael Cole and Corey Graves

The return of Michael Cole to SmackDown marks the end of a long journey on Raw for "The Voice of WWE". He joined Raw's comment team in 2008 and has stayed there ever since. Previously, he had been the main player of SmackDown for almost ten years.

Maddin recently made his commentary debut at a recent edition of 205 Live.

The NXT ad team would apparently remain the same at the moment. It is unclear for the moment Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton will be used in the future.

According to sources, Lawler will probably only be used for a short time on Raw. We are told that other people are being sought full time. This could explain why Mickie James was commented on this week at the Main Event, but we could not verify it.

As we have already mentioned, Renee Young will now be WWE Backstage Hosting Tuesday night on FS1. We are told that Young is thrilled with this move because her job is her passion and she must now do it on a giant platform every week. She echoed this sentiment via Twitter by sharing the announcement of the new show and calling it a dream come true.
