Wrestling legend Mick Foley revealed he tested positive for COVID-19 in a Twitter post, and has isolated himself in his hotel room in the past few weeks since testing positive . Foley says this happened in December after a virtual signing, but gave no further details. He added that people should take this seriously and hide social distancing, and you can check out his full article below.

“I tested positive for COVID following a virtual signature in December, and have been in isolation in a hotel room for 18 days.

Please continue to take this virus seriously – hide yourself, social distancing, watch out for each other.

I wish you all a Happy New Year. “

Foley has reduced his appearances and other events this year, although during his last virtual signing he had his mask on for most of it so he could make it a better experience for fans. He was only with two other people in the room, but unfortunately he learned that one of them had tested positive, and he did so once he was tested.

Since then he has been in a hotel room and he reveals in the video that he missed Christmas and New Years with his family. He then reiterated the importance of taking this seriously and with caution until a vaccine is readily available.

We’ll keep you posted if we learn more, but our hearts are with Foley and we wish him a speedy recovery.
