This 24/7 title has the chance to be really fun … but Cageside? I laughed like an idiot in front of the crowd's initial reaction.
Mick Foley arrived at the beginning of the third hour and explained how Raw needed to become "raw" again. He then pulled out a thin green and gold belt from his felt-out WWE bag and lifted it.
The 24/7 championship was up for grabs … and the crowd collectively made the sound of the intro of Improvement of the habitat. Dude, I'm still laughing while thinking about it.
I hated the look of the belt at first sight, but I love it even more now that we have an idea who will fight for the belt. Foley put this championship on the field and all types of lower cards sprinted into the ring to fight for the prize. The club even played rope with him until Titus O'Neil finally got him back to become the champion.
… The short-lived champion, that is to say. Robert Roode ambushed him on the stage, becoming our second champion and spending the rest of the third hour sprinting for his life as he was pursued by a gang of cards.
That's good, man.
The betrayal, however, was not over. Just before the main event, R-Truth helped Roode to hide in the trunk of a sedan. The truth asked the crowd to go in another direction before betraying Roode and leaving as the third champion 24/7.
I'm really excited for that. The lower card players do not really have much to do and that's something that could be really fun. In fact, it's fun; it's not a new thing, after all. WWE even has material to shoot.
I have never run these reviews with a quarrel of low cards or a screenplay; it's good to do it for once – and for good reason.
The beast has a boombox
My God, Brock Lesnar is so good when he wants to be. Hold this damn briefcase like a boombox and dance to his own music? Pure gold.
I was not a big fan of Lesnar who won the briefcase, but that does not mean that it can not be done well. And with the story they created together, it's … ok, I guess? The bottom line was that Lesnar was not "sneaked" or anything, but he certainly took advantage of the opportunity to win the briefcase. And now, the two world champions are essentially at his mercy.
Well, the two world champions in question challenged Lesnar to a game, which he refused. The pair then played in the team match against Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley in the main event. The match also proved to be a match without DQ, suggesting some sort of McMahon deception.
It was good for what it was. I mean, no one here acts as if Lashley and Corbin were a legitimate threat to one or the other of the champions, is not it? This is essentially their role for a year now. The good guys eventually won, but they fought before Lesnar seemed to close the show, chaining the winnings before leaving.
I'm … delighted (?) That the WWE is trying to write some underlying mysteries that are happening here. I'm not sure that they've ever explicitly said who had hit Zayn at Money in the Bank, for example, and it's been two nights in a row where the card has apparently been changed at the request of Zayn. a McMahon: Charlotte's match at Money in the Bank, and the main event on Raw turning into a No DQ.
I simply do not want to see more power games among the McMahons. Truly not. Especially after all the garbage Shane McMahon I will talk about below.
Let's say it this way: more Lesnar is bullshitting with his briefcase and less McMahons, yes?
Alexa Bliss is us all
This week's Moment of Bliss may have been my favorite part of the series, just for some great Bliss moments.
Bliss was trying to interview Becky Lynch with Nikki Cross in the background when the IIconics presented themselves to Troll The Man for losing a title. They were joined by Lacey Evans, who touted having spoiled things for Lynch.
In response, Lynch challenged them all to fight. Cross quickly offered a loan hand to the champion before Lynch essentially told Bliss that she was fighting too. Bliss was extremely upset that he was told what to do and walked reluctantly to the ring with his cup of coffee in his hand.
It's a mood. It's a mood I feel every morning when I go to work. I have the impression that we have just connected on a spiritual level, Alexa.
Bliss was great outside the ring, too. She tapped politely on the ring apron to cheer for her new friend in Cross and did everything to avoid the match. And in the end, Lynch and Cross were able to take care of their business.
The Cross / Bliss friendship is slightly intriguing, but we have already seen this kind of thing with Bliss. The WWE must provide a different result for this quarrel to be really fun, but it is a good one, in my opinion.
The rest
Braun Strowman def. Sami Zayn – This is the time of the year. It's time to build in Jeddah. Strowman and Lashley have to tackle, which means Braun wins.
That sucks. Again.
I would not be so repulsed if it was a glorified TV show that WWE did not promote, but they make this trash a part of their TV programming. It's disgusting. And I really have no interest in letting him go either.
Roman Reigns vs. Shane McMahon in Jeddah – Can we agree that Reigns is not a SmackDown superstar at this point? Third week in a row Raw, no?
More Jedda cards. This time, Reigns treats Shane as rich and Shane recruits Drew McIntyre to watch him.
More Shane / Jeddah crap – Drew McIntyre defeated The Miz in a game to help strengthen his muscles. The fight between Shane and Miz has been going downhill since WrestleMania.
AJ Styles slapped Baron Corbin – Corbin guided AJ to lose and AJ slapped him. Honestly, if Raw were just people slapping Corbin … I'd be cool with that.
The Firefly Fun House is really scary – We did not have a real Fun House segment this week; Instead, we had an extended Fun House introduction song where kids were shown distorted features, empty faces and the words "Let Him In". Inject this nightmare fuel into my veins.
Cesaro def. Ricochet – j & # 39; was really I looked forward to this match, but they went to a commercial break, came back, then went to another for a silly movie that I will not watch.
Cesaro won, Ricochet lost. The comments have done their best to defeat Ricochet, but I am not a fan of these recent defeats.
The revival def. Usos – A fun match on TV, but the best part might have been honestly for Alexa Bliss, the revival, behind the scenes of their celebration.
Samoa Joe claims his title – I like the fact that they keep this for next week. Not everything should be presented at every show. Joe has described what happened to him at MITB as a parody and he knows that Rey Mysterio, an honorable man, would not accept that. And that he will fix things by handing over his title to Joe.
…Or else.
Lars Sullivan's interview is cut short – He never said a word. The Lucha House Party broke up and managed to offend him before Lars could crush them. He almost did it in the end, but they put it in the back.
New third-hour lighting – Keep it, WWE! I see that you are trying to make this last hour more engaging. I appreciate it.
Weird show for me. I loved what the WWE did, but I hated almost everything that was related to the distribution of the top cards. I did not like the way Cesaro / Ricochet failed, nor the McMahon / Reigns / Miz stuff, nor anything that involved this silly show in Jeddah.
That said, many new faces have really shone. It's great.

In fact, I planned to give a bad rating to this show until the 24-hour content became so much fun. If WWE manages to keep the title 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to tell the story of Cross / Bliss, as well as that of Joe / Mysterio / Dominick next week, Jeddah shit will be a little easier to support.
… I will still say how much I hated it.
