WWE releases Bronson Reed, Bobby Fish, and more NXT wrestlers

During this week’s episode of Friday night SmackDownIt was started to be said that WWE has taken a number of wrestlers off their development roster which is not really a development roster in NXT.

Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful reported the names:

  • Bronson Reed
  • Bobby Fish
  • Tyler Rust
  • Leon Ruff
  • Jake atlas
  • Ari Sterling
  • Kona Reeves
  • Mercedes martinez
  • Zacharie Smith
  • Asher hale
  • Giant zanjeer
  • Stephane smith

News of those releases comes about a week after WWE announced it was on track to achieve a similar level of profit this year compared to its record profits in 2020.

Bronson Reed’s name stands out on this list because he and Karrion Kross reportedly received Dark Match Trials before a few episodes of Monday evening gross and Smack down just last month. Instead of being called to Raw as Kross was, Reed has now left the company.

He has since tweeted:

No word on whether there are future versions planned at this time.
