Friday night’s SmackDown on Fox averaged 1.909 million viewers in the Rapid National Rankings. This is down 4.9% from the number of nights last week.

Audience has been relatively stable, with SmackDown averaging 1.92 million viewers in the first hour and declining slightly to 1.898 million per second.

In demo 18-49, SmackDown got a rating of 0.5, the same as the day last week. Aside from the Olympics, which averaged 10.5 million total viewers and a score of 2.3 in the 18-49 demo on NBC, SmackDown was the highest-rated network show in this category. It even beat some CBS shows in terms of total viewership, which is a rarity.

It was the second week in a row that SmackDown ratings had fallen since WWE returned to tour on July 16.

Year over year, SmackDown’s audience grew 0.9%. The number of 18-49 was the same as this week in 2020.

Compared to the 10-week average, which is shown in the graph below, SmackDown’s nighttime audience has increased 1.4% this week. The 18-49 demo was up 4.2%:
