The second night of the 2019 Shake-up Superstar engulfed SmackDown Live on Tuesday as the blue mark learned what competitors it would receive from Raw in exchange for the many losses lost on Monday.
With WWE.com, Vince McMahon would announce the biggest acquisition of the brand's story just in time for the move to Fox next October, all eyes were on the broadcast of USA Network.
Would it be Roman Reigns who would have joined SmackDown Live exclusively for the first time in his career or perhaps Brock Lesnar, previously indefinable, would become the exclusive property of the series.
Fans have found the answer to this question and the list of other competitors that would make up the lineup for next year on an explosive episode of Tuesday night's staple.

The Montreal Bell Center welcomed Kevin Owens home, with open arms, applauding him with a resounding ovation as The Prizefighter kicked off Tuesday's show with the latest edition of Kevin Owens. Show.
He spoke to fans of his hometown in his native French, provoking an even greater reaction from those present.
Owens talked about Superstar Shake-Up before introducing his guest, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston.
The host congratulated Kingston for his victory, attracting a huge standing ovation from the fans. Kingston thanked Owens and explained what was the moment for him. The crowd, again, broke out as Owens shifted his attention to the absence of Big E.
After a shot at Xavier Woods, Owens announced a team match between New Day and the duo of Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev.
Owens has launched the idea of being the last member of the group, his new nickname "Big O". The boy from the hometown was impressed by a pelvic thrust, to which Kingston responded by naming him in the team.
The three celebrated to close the segment, Owens wearing a unicorn horn and a New Day shirt to a great pop.

Analysis
It was so much fun and totally unexpected that it almost ended in Owens turning a heel that no one asked.
This would make sense in the context of the story told up to this point, however.
Owens came back and saw his championship program with Bryan pushed aside for the unlikely rise of Kingston. It would make sense for Owens to take revenge and to do so by betraying Kingston.
In fact, it makes such sense to suggest that this is the most likely outcome: giving too much credit to WWE Creative.

The first Superstar to jump between Raw and SmackDown was unveiled on Tuesday as Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor battled with Ali in an untitled match.
Ali controlled the fight with a tussle coming in the break, but Balor kicked a low kick and a quick chop to take control. He showed a more aggressive side of himself by firing a few shots on his opponent's body.
Ali made a strong comeback come out of the break, delivered a DDT slingshot and consecutive chops.
Balor responded with the Sling Blade but came across a superkick from the former cruiserweight competitor. He delivered a dropkick and attempted the coup de grace but Ali caught up with him. Ali almost won, but Balor threw him off the mat at two o'clock.
Ali tried to follow with a splash of 450 but Balor rolled away, delivered the dropkick from the corner and finished the aerial performer with the Grace Blow.

Analysis
The match was very good but was undoubtedly hurt by the commercial break. The chemistry of the Superstars only came into play later, giving the fans a tough second half of the match, which was a good foretaste of upcoming events.
Ali seemed quite equal to Balor, while the IC champion showed how incredibly talented he was when he did not work for bigger superstars like Drew McIntyre, Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley.
Despite the break, it was always a contested match that was a great home for Balor.

At the same time last year, Carmella was on the right track after cashing Money in the Bank and defeating Charlotte Flair to win the Women's SmackDown Championship. On Tuesday night, the rivals revived their rivalry as The Queen returned to the square circle for the first time since WrestleMania 35.
Flair did nonsense to the fans and played with her opponent, apparently taking the Staten Island Princess lightly.
Carmella dodged a big boot from Flair and kicked aside for two counts. She continued to frustrate the opposition by delivering a bronco buster. Flair regained control before the break.
She continued to dominate the action, working with Carmella near the ring. Flair climbed the guardrail and tried to try his luck, but his opponent removed him and delivered a superkick. Paralyzed by her knee injury, Carmella was a victim of a cut block and Figure Eight of The Queen for the win.
After the match, R-Truth checked Carmella when Lars Sullivan's music was played. The Freak walked to the square circle and met the former US champion. Sullivan is mocked at Truth's attempted attack, which delivered his Freak Ending finishing device before standing near his prey.

Analysis
The match between Flair and Carmella was better than expected, largely due to the reversal of roles compared to the program last year. Carmella plays much better in the role of underdog babyface than she was as a stub, at least from the point of view of the ring. Flair gave her just enough to give a glimmer of hope that she could win before smothering any attempt to return with her figure eight.
Sullivan's defeat, which ended with an infernal coup against Truth after threatening Carmella's safety, was perfectly executed and continued his path of destruction through the WWE.
Extension of the brand be damned.

Raw and SmackDown women's champion Becky Lynch received a resounding ovation in the ring, ready to face the WWE world and the current superstar shake-up.
Lynch said watching all the women compete for a championship opportunity reminded her of two goals: first, to cross Lacey Evans and, second, to face everyone who was on her way while she was trying to keep his titles and to give new heads.
Ember Moon debuted at SmackDown Live as part of the Superstar Shake-Up and wasted no time trying to make a name for himself … by approaching the woman who directed WrestleMania event.
Bayley interrupted to announce his debut at SmackDown. She pointed out that she was at SmackDown as a singles competitor and that she was eyeing on two other titles. Before she could announce her intention to challenge The Man, The IIconics broke up.
Women's team champions Billie Kay and Peyton Royce mocked Moon and Bayley, who did not have a title, and explained the whole event before Paige became the last to interrupt the proceedings.
She was about to introduce her new tag team when Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville appeared. They teased that it was an Absolution meeting but Paige revealed that it was Asuka and Kairi Sane!
The new team provoked a huge ovation from the fans as SmackDown's women's division added even more talent to its already well-honed lineup. The babyfaces cleaned the ring of heels and stood up to complete the segment.

Analysis
It has been a bit long, but it has introduced the new improved and improved women's lineup, which is perhaps one of the most talented and stacked in the history of the WWE.
Bayley drawing boos says more about the terrible work that WWE has done to represent her on her main list than anything she's done while Ember Moon remains a source of huge untapped potential.
Asuka and Sane have the potential to be an excellent team all the time, especially if they can create momentum on SmackDown. The empress of tomorrow had trouble finding her place on the main list.
Of course, this whole event is like an excuse to book a match with Eight-Woman Tag Team.

And … here it is.
Asuka, Kairi Sane, Bayley and Ember Moon fought Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Peyton Royce and Billie Kay after the break. The babyfaces controlled the action, asuka and sane presenting some of the chemistry of their team by swallowing Rose.
Moon wiped his heels at the edge of the ring with a cross block heading towards the break.
During the break, the heels isolate Bayley and seize control of the match.
A hot-tag at Asuka caused the babyface to return as the empress of tomorrow launched a wave of offensive action against Royce. A kick in the face silenced Aussie but Rose broke a pinning attempt. Moon eliminated the Golden Goddess but DeVille shot down the Shenom.
The action continued to collapse until The Pirate Princess delivered the Elbow In-Sane Elbow and scored the pin win over Royce.

Sane, Moon, Asuka and Bayley def. Rose, Deville, Royce and Kay

Analysis
The action was non-stop but from a structural and narrative point of view, there was little to it.
Each of the newcomers had the opportunity to play in a star and Sane looked phenomenal, so there you go.
The only problem facing the SmackDown division, which has been exposed in its entirety here, is that the division is so fraught with consequences that the lack of credible stubs could devalue everyone by proxy.
At some point, SmackDown will have to develop heels beyond Charlotte Flair where all the quality babyfaces on the planet will not matter. After all, a hero is as big as his villain.

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of New Day, and his honorary teammate "The Big O" Kevin Owens took on Shinsuke Nakamura, Rusev and Cesaro in a six-man team competition on Tuesday night.
The babyfaces headed towards Nakamura and Rusev early in the night, cutting the competition to the delight of the fans. The heels took control of the match, defeating Woods before the break and continuing their attack on the Up Up, Down Down host.
A missile drop allowed Woods to create a separation and create the shortcut plate in Kingston. The WWE champion landed in the competition but found himself at the reception of Cesaro's big swing. The Swiss Superman applied the Sharpshooter but Owens stepped in and broke the block.
Kingston officially tagged Owens, who received a huge ovation.
The Prizefighter sent Kingston flying into the opposition, then dropped Rusev with a dizzying one for victory at dusk.

The New Day and Owens defeated Rusev, Nakamura and Cesaro

Analysis
It was a fun sprint that allowed Kingston and Owens to shine while Woods was still as good as his opponent.
The stubs were really right there and could have been traded with any other trio of bad guys on the list, which is more of a WWE Creative indictment than any of the performers themselves. -Same.
All six worked hard, they seemed to have fun and the result hit the fans. You can not ask more for a match designed for that.

Vince McMahon joined the square circle and announced the largest, most charismatic acquisition in the history of SmackDown: Elias.
The fans groaned as The Drifter walked to the square circle as the fans became very vocal in their disdain for the ad. Elias responded admitting that he was not happy to be in Montreal. He added that without AJ Styles, SmackDown would become "The Temple of Elias".
As Elias began to play, Roman Reigns' music played and The Big Dog debuted at Smackown.
The Big Dog delivered a Superman Punch to Elias before McMahon appeared in front of his biggest star. Reigns replied, leaving the chairman of the board with his own Superman punch.
"I do not care what he says SmackDown Live is my job now!" The former World Champion and WWE Champion has been exclaimed to close the show.

Analysis
With one segment, Reigns assumed the leadership of the SmackDown brand, rekindled its rivalry with the McMahon family (if WWE Creative borrowed it) and Elias emerged as the main villain of the brand.
It was excellent and we finished the series in style, potentially creating several weeks of television.
Reigns is the lucky star to guide SmackDown in its transition to FOX in October. For the first time since 2008, when Triple H switched to the blue mark, it is home to the biggest star of the fight. If that makes SmackDown a must-see on TV is the biggest issue that WWE will be facing in the coming months.
