The WWE SmackDown episode of March 19 saw the return of The Miz, the debut of Sasha Banks and Bayley, two reigning women's champions, the blue mark and the reintroduction of the "Kevin Owens Show".

Kofi Kingston's difficult situation while fighting for his livelihood at WrestleMania, however, defined this episode.

How did the 11-year-old veteran in his quest for a title for the WWE title perform?

Find out with this recap of Tuesday's broadcast of the USA network.

Two weeks after Shane McMahon struck, brutalized and humiliated him in front of his father and fans of Cleveland's hometown at WWE Fastlane, The Miz returned to SmackDown Live and spoke to his former main partner.

He remembered Fastlane and then said that Shane was not born the best in the world, but the worst because he was a McMahon.

Miz turned his attention to Kofi Kingston and the subject of hard work and income for the WWE.

After 13 years, he said, he earned his place, to which fans cheered him by chanting "You deserve it". At WrestleMania, he finished, Shane-O-Mac got a kick in the ass.

    Analysis

It was the best promo Miz has made since shooting on Daniel Bryan during "Talking Smack" and, in addition, brilliant actors. He was passionate and intense and as a result, the promo touched an emotional nerve.

After an incredibly slow start to the program, Fastlane's turn and this Miz promotion have the same fight as he and McMahon at WrestleMania suddenly feeling like one of the best built and most anticipated on the map.

Hopefully the editorial team can continue to build momentum over the next two weeks as Miz is perfectly capable of carrying out its mission.

After weeks spent calling The Boss' N & # 39; Hug Connection for not appearing on SmackDown Live, the IIconics finally had the opportunity to prove that they were the best team in the industry, fighting the female champions by tag Bayley and Sasha Banks. match -title.

By the time the action started, Lacey Evans' music was interrupting and the Sassy Southern Belle came down the ramp, offering a distraction that allowed Peyton Royce and Billie Kay to shoot Bayley and take the combat control.

Throughout the break, Bayley was isolated by the heels. She cut the ring and used her left arm to try to weaken it and improve her chances of victory.

Bayley finally created the split and scored The Boss in the match.

Banks dumped on the opposition, but a superkick from Kay to Bayley put it close to the ring, allowing Royce to score points for the win.

    Result

    IIconics defeated Bayley and Banks

    Quality

    B

    Analysis

It took a lot to get the right result, but the IIconics won a huge win here and now aim for a championship opportunity at WrestleMania.

Kay and Royce are such talented characters that they almost make up for the fact that they are not as numerous as Bayley and Banks in the group. This is reflected in the response they were able to maintain despite the fact that the IIconics system was not used so consistently.

It was a pretty solid game that did exactly what it was planned for, and for that, it more than deserved its "B" rating.

Kevin Owens presented the first "Kevin Owens Show" at WWE Universe for months, admitting everyone was looking forward to seeing Kofi Kingston win the WWE title against Daniel Bryan, but it's another match which arouses the enthusiasm of its fans: the Triple Threat for the Raw Women's. The championship between Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch.

He welcomed Lynch, who gave a huge ovation, and Flair followed him up a gear.

Owens has summarized some of the quotes that the two challengers have embarked on in recent weeks. Owens used these quotes to annoy them – to manipulate them in the fight – and finally, they did it.

Lynch and Flair fought around the talk show before the action spread to the floor.

The man assaulted a security guard before the rival friends finally became separated.

    Quality

    B +

    Analysis

Nothing that happened here was neither better nor different from what we saw before on Road to WrestleMania, but every time Lynch and Flair get into one of their intensely physical fights, the TV is good.

They have shown that no security is currently assured and that in fact, they should probably let women fight.

Owens was great as an antagonist but did not really serve any other purpose. At least he spent some time on television.

WWE Champion Daniel Bryan spoke to fans about Kofi Kingston.

The world champion qualified Kingston as a B + player who proved that he could not win when the opportunity arose. He recalled the recent defeats of his future No. 1 candidate and reiterated that B + was not good enough.

This resulted in Kingston's tough game, ending Bryan's promotion prematurely.

    Analysis

The manner in which Bryan's trip was completed, to the point that he now refers to other Superstars as the same B + player that he had once been insultingly labeled, was a pleasure to watch.

As Harvey Dent had warned The black Knight, "you die a hero or live long enough to see you become the bad guy."

Bryan is the bad guy now, and it was really fun to watch him evolve in that role.

As revealed a week ago, Kofi Kingston's path to WrestleMania would be determined Tuesday night, as the former Intercontinental Champion, USA and team champion fought with Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, Rowan , Sheamus and Cesaro in a Gauntlet match.

His first test? Sheamus, accompanied by his partner, Cesaro, at the edge of the ring.

Kingston worked the left arm of his opponent, then plunged over the top rope, eliminating The Celtic Warrior from a culprit. An alert Sheamus, however, grabbed an opening and grounded the popular underdog.

Cesaro's low shot kept Sheamus in control of the match before the break.

Back from the break, Kingston has pioneered the game and delivered a big dropkick. The Boom Drop followed, but an attempt at Trouble in Paradise was countered. He escaped a submission attempt in cloverleaf and scored a cross for a near fall.

The back and forth continued before Kingston could finally perform Trouble in Paradise to mark the first fall of the match.

    Analysis

Sheamus and Kingston recounted the story of a grizzled veteran, a former WWE champion setting the tone for the challenge match, taking everything he could to avoid his opponent in order to exhaust him even before he can surrender to the next opponent. .

The narration worked and created a doubt at the comment table that Kingston could actually handle the challenge.

The fact that Kofi and Sheamus have worked hand in hand over the last 10 years has only helped the overall quality of their match, their chemical composition being a major attribute.

The Swiss superstar did not let a second breathe in Kingston, the striker with a nasty European uppercut.

Cesaro worked on his opponent's back as the Superstars gathered behind the scenes to watch Kingston's hardships and tribulations on a monitor. The Cesaro Swing disoriented Kingston and another cloverleaf added even more pain and punishment to the already injured back.

Kingston tried desperately to resist his opponent's bid attempts, but those efforts proved futile at first. He ended up doing it, however, and his body found himself out of the neutralizer. From there, he delivered S.O.S. and won another victory.

    Kingston pinned Cesaro

    Analysis

This fall resulted in a back injury for Kingston, the rest of the competitors would almost certainly be targeted.

Kingston, who has shown resilience, battled pain and won, continuing his journey to the main WrestleMania event.

If Sheamus has exhausted it, Cesaro hurt Kingston and beyond throw doubt on an improbable victory.

Kingston was the victim of a brutal beating at the hands of the gigantic Rowan sequoia.

The right arm of Daniel Bryan ignored the rules, attacking Kingston at the edge of the ring before being intentionally disqualified. Not having anything else to lose, he drove the hero bludgeoned through the ads table.

Samoa Joe's music has been performed by Corey Graves. Kofi's dream was by no means an end.

    Analysis

It was more an angle than anything else.

Just as WrestleMania 30, where Randy Orton and Batista forced Daniel Bryan to overcome his injuries and get through the ads table, Kingston will now face the unenviable task of defeating the aforementioned American champion Joe and Orton. he wants his dreams to come true. true on April 7th.

Kingston's plight and Rowan's destruction mission represented a brighter reserve from a creative team on fire at the moment.

Like a shark that smells blood in the water, Joe fled Kingston. He repelled an attempt to return with a big kick that anchored his opponent.

A half camel clutch slows down.

Again, Kingston fought back, only to eat an ugly lariat that returned it.

All that Kofi has thrown at Joe to try a comeback has proven to be ineffective, as Joe brought him back to the ground and gave him more energy.

As Joe prepared his face for a Muscle Buster, Kingston released him and lifted him up, grabbing the pantyhose for the threesome.

After the bell, angry Joe applied the Coquina Clutch bell until the authorities forced him to the back.

"In one way or another, there is still hope in the locker room from Kofi Kingston to SmackDown," said Tom Phillips, shortly before the start of Randy Orton's music. and before The Viper goes to the ring.

    Analysis

The commentators failed to talk about the issue, but Kingston definitely took Joe's tights in the pack, demonstrating his willingness to do everything necessary to win the victory and keep his WrestleMania Bliss dreams alive.

He was fantastic while the baby's face was in extreme danger, abandoned to his instinct to ensure a victory.

Joe, the fierce, incredulous beast, was just as good. The result? The best fall of the glove at this point.

Upon receiving a targeted attack from Randy Orton, Kingston desperately sent his opponent up the stairs. This allowed him to create a certain separation, but Orton, focused on the laser, resumed his assault in the square circle.

The Viper grounded Kingston and trapped him in a guard, seeking to filter out any remaining battle ounces in the valiant competitor.

The action continued with Kingston reversing an Irish whip but almost a victim of RKO. He repulsed Orton and delivered Trouble in Paradise when the WWE universe burst with joy. Too battered to capitalize, Kingston could only get closer as the third-generation star, awake, ran to the ground to stay alive in the match.

The fall continued as Kingston tried to cross the body, but Orton made two passes. The draped DDT followed as it seemed more and more likely that the Kingston rendezvous with Daniel Bryan was not supposed to be.

Orton missed an RKO attempt, but Kingston rolled over to win the match and cash his ticket for WrestleMania.

The WWE Universe exploded and Big E and Xavier Woods joined their longtime partner in the ring for a merry celebration – interrupted by the arrival of Vince McMahon.

McMahon announced that for Kingston to participate in WrestleMania, he had to defeat one last Superstar: Bryan himself.

    Kingston defeated Orton

    Analysis

This followed the same pattern of Joe's match, and although it was not as good, the late drama raised him.

Kingston withstood the famous RKO to get to "Mania," but in typical McMahon fashion, Vince put a final hurdle to Kofi Kingston's "Stone Cold", infuriating the audience and creating exactly the scorching scenario dreamed of by the editorial team.

The champion of the planet took the fight in Kingston and sought to unload it from his patented kicks in the chest. One last shot was ducked, however, and Kingston delivered S.O.S. for another close to the fall.

Bryan followed with a series of corner dropkicks. A third was thwarted in another close count.

Kingston tried a cross block but missed. Bryan responded with a series of bad shots on the chest and head.

He followed with the knee running for the victory in the fall.

SmackDown has stopped broadcasting with Big E and New Day Woods checking Kingston.

    Analysis

There are really edgy members of the WWE universe.

    It's a well thing.

This added even more warmth to the program and created a scenario in which the fans will be totally comfortable in their support. They will go out of their way to see the often abused hero get what he's gained by criticizing the megalomaniac owner.

It was a convincing television, and it will be better.
