WWE has yet to announce who will be fighting for the WWE Championship next on TLC pay-per-view and it looks like they will be slow to announce a challenger until later on the show.

However, Dave Meltzer reports that the plan is for Braun Strowman to take on WWE Champion Drew McIntyre on December 20 at TLC pay-per-view.

In the opening segment of Monday Night Raw, Strowman punched Adam Pearce right before Pearce was set to nominate the No.1 candidate.

Meltzer also confirmed today that last night was Seth Rollins’ last show before his leave. He will be away from all shows for the next few weeks so he can be with Becky Lynch, who is due to give birth soon.

UPDATE ON THE WWE TLC MAIN EVENT: WWE has announced that the No.1 candidate will be determined next week in a triple threat match.
